Lawyer Simone and Vet Nurse Steven, along with their young son, Logan, chose to live at Springwood thanks to its proximity to Gawler, the large block sizes, and to be close to family.
“We met at school in Gawler and knew that we wanted to stay as close to Gawler as possible, without lengthy commutes to work,” said Steven.
“Plus, the majority of our immediate family live in Gawler and the northern suburbs.”
Together, Simone and Steven have built two homes at Springwood.
They built their first home in 2013 and sold it in 2018, before moving into their new Format home, situated on a 800sqm lot, in December 2019.
“It’s a five bedroom, two bathroom home with a double garage, home theatre and large outdoor entertaining area, plus a big backyard for the kid/s and our two dogs, Bella and Banjo,” said Simone.
Simone and Steven believe Springwood provides an ideal environment to raise their young family.
“It is a safe and friendly environment and the perfect place to raise children,” said Simone.
“We love the community and the events Springwood holds at Easter and Christmas time, and we can’t wait for Logan to grow up and become more involved.
“The playgrounds and natural play area also make it an interesting and stimulating place for Logan to explore,” she said.
The convenience that Springwood offers was another big drawcard for the family.
“The future Village Centre will mean everything is at our doorstep – but in the meantime, Springwood is far enough from the hub of Gawler to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to pop down to the shops when needed.”
