Springwood lies at the heart of an $80m infrastructure investment into major new road connections, including the Gawler East Link Road. Opened in 2020, this exciting new connection from Main North Road bypasses central Gawler and connects to Calton Road via
the new Springwood Village Centre, reducing congestion and speeding up travel times.

Northern Connector
The new, six-lane, 15.5 kilometre Northern Connector motorway, which opened in 2020, provides a vital freight and commuter link between the Northern Expressway, South Road Superway and Port River Expressway.

Gawler Rail Line
Be in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD within 48 minutes with the recent electrification of the Gawler Rail Line. Express lines are now running, enabling Springwood residents to enjoy a faster, safer, cleaner and more reliable commute.
