After growing up in Gawler, teachers Teigan and Josh have chosen Springwood as the perfect place to raise their young family.
“We’d both grown up in Gawler and went to school together at Trinity College, so were looking to stay in the area,” said Teigan.
“We looked at a couple of developments, and then Josh came across Springwood – I didn’t actually know it was up the hill!
“So many other developments we looked at had really small blocks, but when visited Springwood we were really impressed with the size of land on offer.
“We found the house we wanted to build, and then needed to find a block that fit both the house – and had enough room for Bailey, our Golden Retriever!”
In 2018, Teigan and Josh purchased their 550sqm block, before building their dream home with Rivergum Homes. In 2019, their family expanded when they welcomed baby Lola.
They love the convenience, friendliness and natural environment at Springwood.
“We love taking Bailey for walks at Springwood – everything looks perfect, there’s always nice grass, and people say ‘hi’ to each other too,” said Josh.
“My sister comes here all the time with her kids because of the playground – she wants to move to here one day too!” added Teagan.
The new Village Centre at Springwood is another drawcard for the young family, who are looking forward to extra convenience.
“Even though Springwood is super close to Gawler, being able to walk down to the new Village Centre at Springwood will be really handy.”
